I am a 2009 graduate of Knox College, where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I currently enjoy serving as the Executive Director of the Graduation Pledge Alliance (GPA, www.graduationpledge.org), an international organization of colleges and universities that offer their students the Graduation Pledge of Social and Environmental Responsibility. Students who take the Graduation Pledge affirm the following, "I pledge to explore and take into account the social and environmental consequences of any job I consider and will try to improve these aspects of any organizations for which I work." Last year alone, over 13,000 students made a commitment to social/environmental consciousness and action.
