Transportation

The University of Miami campus is easily accessible from MIA by using the Orange Line of the Metrorail. Take the Orange line from MIA to the University Station. View the station map and plan your trip HERE>>

Taxicabs (305-244-4444) and SuperShuttle (305-871-2000) vans are available on the arrival (ground) level of the airport, outside of the baggage claim areas  - http://www.miami-airport.com/hotel_shuttles.asp

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is located in unincorporated Broward County, Florida, three miles southwest of the central business district of Fort Lauderdale and 31.1 miles from the Univesrity of Miami campus. FLL serves Southwest Airlines and JetBlue among other airlines.

Welcome to the University of Miami

The University of Miami campus is easily accessible by using Metrorail. From MIA, Take the Orange line to the University Station. View the station map and plan your trip HERE>>

Shuttle service will be provided between the Coconut Grove area and UM Campus. The location for shuttle pickup and return will be on the corner of Virginia St and Florida Ave, just outside the Mayfair Hotel & Spa Lobby. The shuttle will drop participants on campus at the University Drive Circle outside Merrick Building. Find more information on the Grove Shuttle service here>>

You can also get to campus from the Grove by using public transit - one bus, one train

The Hurry 'Canes campus shuttle operates on campus with servicing the University Metro Station, Stanford Drive Circle, and other locations. A special shuttle will help transport participants from Stanford Circle to lunch and poster sessions Fieldhouse at the Bank United Center on Thursday & Friday.

Driving Directions

All routes below lead to the Pavia Parking Garage on the Coral Gables Campus, where temporary day parking passes are available. If you park in Pavia, it's an easy walk to the Dooley Memorial Building for registration and sessions.

From Miami International Airport: Take LeJeune Road south to Ponce De Leon Boulevard. Turn right on Ponce De Leon and travel about 1 mile to Stanford Drive, main entrance to UM. Stop at the entrance gate for directions to the Pavia Parking Garage or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Levante Avenue, then right onto Pavia. The garage is on your left.

From I-95 North: Head south on 95, which becomes U.S. 1 (South Dixie Highway).  Stay on U.S. 1 for about 5 miles to the UM campus. Turn right on Stanford Drive, main entrance to UM. Stop at the entrance gate for directions to the Pavia Parking Garage or continue on, turn left from Stanford onto Levante Avenue, then right on Pavia. The garage is on your left.

From Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport: Take 595 West, which connects with I-95 South. Take I-95 South, which becomes U.S. 1. Continue about 5 miles. Turn right on Stanford Drive, main entrance to UM. Stop at the entrance gate for directions to the Pavia Parking Garage or continue on, turning left from Stanford onto Levante Avenue, then right onto Pavia. The garage is on left.
