New MS Program in Community Psychology at UIW

UIW Department of Psychology is offering a new program: The MS in Community Psychology. The program will prepare students for both further scholarship and applied work towards implementing change in our institutions (schools, faith-based communities, law enforcement, criminal justice, cultural institutions, and mass media) and society. The program emphasizes community-based interventions and environmental strategies rather than individual counseling / psychotherapy, and focuses on cultural competence, health promotion, organizational and program evaluation, and grant writing within a context of social justice principles.

Graduate Assistantships (scholarship) are available, and UIW graduates are eligible for discounted tuition.
