The 1st Pacific Northwest Community Psychology Conference:

The 1st Pacific Northwest Community Psychology Conference is designed tobring together and facilitate the work of scholars, teachers, students,and practitioners engaged in community research and action throughout the region. The emphasis for the meeting will be on developing,sharing, and supporting community-based work in all stages of development, from work in progress to completed projects. Please join in this historic event!

Proposals are encouraged in a variety of formats (e.g., symposium, roundtable, individual papers) lasting 1 hour in length. All presentation formats should allow for ample discussion of the project with presenters and audience.Proposal submissions should include the following components:

  1. Abstract (300 word limit) that outlines key goals for the project (research, action, and/or learning goals), methods for achieving
    those goals, initial understandings (findings, outcomes, conclusions), and remaining questions and dilemmas that you wish to pose for discussion by participant.
