The Maine Center for Public Health (MCPH) seeks applicants for an Evaluation Specialist/Research Associate position to work with multiple state and local level partners to coordinate, design and implement program evaluation, provide technical assistance on evaluation methods, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, and write evaluation reports.  MCPH offers interested professionals the opportunity to use their knowledge and skills in an applied setting in partnership with academic institutions, community groups, and state and local public health agencies. Areas of focus for evaluation include tobacco control, cardiovascular health, obesity, nutrition and physical activity, and oral health, among others.  Conceptual understanding of and interest in evaluation methods and objectives is required.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Must be able to work both as a team member and individually.  Applicants must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Public Health or related field and at least three years experience in public health program evaluation or research.  The MCPH is a dynamic and growing organization offering competitive salary and benefits.
