Position

Immediate opening for full-time Research Assistant in Edgewood, New Mexico for a study of SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral, and Treatment) with moderate drug use. 

Job Summary:        

The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible for recruiting participants into the study, obtaining informed consent, randomizing participants, and administering a computerized brief intervention. The RA must complete Human Subjects Protection certification to ensure that participant confidentiality is maintained. He/she will review all study-related forms for completeness and inconsistencies and will be responsible for tracking participants, scheduling and conducting follow-up assessments.

Qualifications:        

• Bachelor's degree with relevant research experience required
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Computer skills necessary: knowledge of spreadsheet programs, internet, and word processing programs.
