DePaul University Clinical/Community Psychology Faculty Position

The Department of Psychology at DePaul University seeks to fill an open-rank, full time, tenured or tenure-track faculty position in the Community track of the Clinical Psychology Program beginning in September, 2013. A strong background in research and a high quality research agenda are prerequisites. Excellent teaching skills and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction are essential. The following qualities are preferred: research interest in clinical and community psychology, cultural diversity, and low-income urban populations; quantitative, qualitative, and/or methodological strengths; and experience with external research funding. Candidates for associate or full professor interested in providing leadership for our doctoral training program in Clinical Psychology are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected: (1) to make distinctive additions to the scientific literature in Community Psychology, preferably with external funding support; (2) to teach courses in the Psychology Department's undergraduate core curriculum and to contribute to the university's Liberal Studies curriculum; and (3) to contribute to graduate teaching and thesis and dissertation supervision in Clinical Community Psychology. Those with significant leadership responsibilities will reduce their teaching. DePaul University has a diverse student body and faculty.
