DePaul University is seeking a tenure-track, full-time, Assistant Professor faculty member in the Child track of the Clinical Psychology program, beginning in September, 2012. A strong background in research and a cutting edge research agenda are essential. Excellent teaching skills and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction also are prerequisites. Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. Licensure to practice psychology is desired, although candidates who are license eligible and intend to pursue licensure also are welcome. Area of specialization is open, but we are especially interested in candidates with research interests in low-income urban children and/or adolescents; teaching interests in family therapy and/or treatment methods with children; quantitative, qualitative, and/or methodological strengths; and grant-writing experience. The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) teach courses in the Psychology Department's undergraduate core curriculum; (2) contribute to graduate teaching and thesis and dissertation supervision in Clinical Child Psychology; and (3) make distinctive contributions to the scientific literature in Clinical Child Psychology.
