I am sending you descriptions of our current faculty openings. Can you share these with any email lists you belong to and  with people who you think would be good candidates.

Please note that this is the first time we have specifically advertised for faculty in the community area. We have great opportunities for faculty interested in this area of teaching and scholarship, including established university-community partnerships.

We prefer to hire faculty with an MSW and practice experience, but this is not required. In fact, our school is very interdisciplinary, with faculty members with backgrounds in history, sociology, psychology, public health, economics, and anthropology. Many of our faculty (including myself) have affiliations or appointments in other units. 

I will be involved in the search committee, so feel free to shoot questions my way or direct people with questions to me.
