Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Psychology
The University of New Haven has an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning fall semester 2010. The successful candidate will teach in both graduate and undergraduate programs, offering courses in Community Psychology, Prevention, and a subset of the following: Research Methods, Psychotherapy, Interviewing, and Group Treatment. Other responsibilities include a program of scholarly activity, student advising, committee service, and participation in departmental activities. A PhD in community psychology (or closely related area) is required, an active research program, and teaching experience is essential.
