Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology – Bowling Green State University
Clinical Psychology – Bowling Green State University. The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Bowling Green State University is seeking an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) with health psychology expertise and experience for its APA-Approved Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. The successful candidate will be expected to publish original research and seek/obtain grant funding in health psychology, behavioral medicine, psychophysiology, and/or neuropsychology. Additional responsibilities of the position include: mentoring graduate students, teaching (graduate and undergraduate courses), and providing clinical supervision. Qualifications for the position include a doctorate in clinical psychology earned before September 1, 2015, and eligibility/work towards eligibility for Ohio licensure. Salary and start-up are competitive and commensurate with peer institutions and candidate experience. The Department of Psychology at Bowling Green State University has over 100 doctoral students across 4 areas: Clinical Psychology, Neural-Cognitive Sciences, Developmental Psychology, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology. In addition, there are over 500 undergraduate majors. The Clinical Psychology Program strongly endorses a scientist-practitioner model of training with concentrations in health psychology, child clinical psychology, community clinical psychology, and general clinical psychology (including the psychology of religion). Our graduates obtain positions in academic, medical, community, and independent practice settings.
