Founded in 1980, CNM Connect is the largest nonprofit resource center in the state of Texas. CNM Connect provides comprehensive management assistance and training services to over 2,500 clients annually.


CNM Connect is seeking an energetic and expert professional to provide consulting and training services to nonprofit organizations. CNM Connect consultants help organizations solve issues, create value, maximize growth and improve business performance to achieve greater mission impact. The position reports to the Vice President of Consulting and Education.

Primary responsibilities include:

·         Understand the needs and challenges facing the client

·         Conduct in-depth analysis, identify issues and document findings

·         Conduct research and data collection to understand the organization and the request for assistance

·         Conduct interviews, facilitate focus groups, and facilitate workshops

·         Conduct online surveys

·         Analyze systems and develop recommendations

·         Document summary reports, strategic plans, and operating plans

·         Prepare and present findings and recommendations to clients

·         Develop and facilitate seminars in line with established educational learning objectives

·         Maintain customer focus, establishing collaborative relationships with clients

·         Manage projects to ensure all work is completed on time, on budget, and client expectations are met or exceeded

·         Other duties may be assigned

The Ideal candidate will have the following:

·         Minimum of five years of experience providing consulting to nonprofits

·         Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

·         High level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

·         Excellent analytical skills; keen insight for solving problems with relevant, cost effective solutions

·         Excellent organizational skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Active listener with ability to understand client needs; encourage and recognize diverse values and perspectives

·         Ability to work well with others

·         Requires minimal supervision

·         Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
