The Psychology Department at Wichita State University seeks to hire a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Community Psychology to begin in fall 2022. We are open to all areas of research related to community psychology, but we are especially interested in scholars whose work centers on marginalized and/or understudied populations and employs an intersectional perspective. Wichita State’s psychology department has three doctoral programs: Community, Community–Clinical (APA Accredited), and Human Factors. Faculty in the community program are core faculty to both the Community and Community–Clinical programs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach graduate and undergraduate courses and will be expected to mentor doctoral students in the process of community-engaged research. The department is research-oriented and has an expectation for faculty to seek external funding and publish peer-reviewed journal articles.
Applications will continue to be reviewed until position is filled. Full description and application information can be found at: Wichita State University Employment Opportunities | Assistant Professor of Community Psychology
