Dear SCRA members:

On behalf of the executive committee,  I am sending our collective response to the Open Letter and SCRA Call to Action on Anti-Blackness.  We are honored to respond to this Call on Juneteenth. We are grateful to the originators of the letter and the members who have signed on to express their concerns and put forth this much needed call to action to our leadership.

I have included a brief video introduction to our response, here: https://bit.ly/ScraMessage

The response in its entirety, including our proposed action steps and commitments to working for anti-racist action, including commitments for resources and funding, can be found here

We look forward to this response being a starting point for an ongoing process of dialogue and engagement with the membership to refine and revise these action plans.

Sincerely,

SCRA Executive Committee
