Visiting Assistant Professor - Clinical Community Psychology | University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The University Of Illinois At Urbana-Champaign Psychology Department is searching for a Visiting Assistant Professor, full-time, non-tenure to join the Clinical/Community Division.  

DUTIES

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to contribute to our graduate program in clinical/community psychology via practicum and course instruction. Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in areas, such as, assessment, psychotherapy, intervention, and ethics. Graduate courses will likely include both didactic and practicum experiences. In addition, this individual will engage in supervision of graduate students applied clinical work in the context of practicum.

QUALIFICATIONS AND DEGREE REQUIREMENTS 

Candidates must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA accredited program by the time the appointment begins, evidence of scholarly productivity commensurate with experience, evidence of excellence in teaching, and must be license eligible in Illinois. While this position is primarily focused on contributing to the teaching needs of the program, there may also be opportunities to collaborate on ongoing research projects and to engage in clinical practice (e.g., to accrue post-doctoral hours).

SALARY AND APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. This is a full time, 9 month, non-tenure track appointment. Renewal of position is possible and contingent on funding and strong performance reviews Target start date is August 16. 2014.
