ASSOCIATE OR FULL PROFESSOR FOR DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL TRAINING, DEPAUL UNIVERSITY
DePaul University is seeking a tenure-track, full-time, Associate or Full Professor to serve as Director of Clinical Training in our clinical psychology program, beginning in September, 2015. A strong background in administration and/or leadership activities, high scholarly productivity, and a cutting edge research agenda are essential. Excellent teaching skills and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction also are prerequisites. Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology and be licensed or eligible in the state of Illinois. Board certification by ABPP or APA Fellow status would enhance an application. Area of specialization is open, but we are especially interested in candidates with research interests in clinical child or clinical community psychology focused on low-income or underserved populations; quantitative, qualitative, and/or methodological strengths; and grant-writing experience. The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) lead our American Psychological Association accredited clinical psychology program (for at least 1 term that will take us through our next site visit in 2017), (2) teach courses in the psychology department's undergraduate and graduate curriculum; (3) mentor students and supervise theses and dissertations, and (4) make distinctive contributions to the scientific literature in clinical child or clinical community psychology.
