CLINICAL COMMUNITY PSYCHOLOGY, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, DEPAUL UNIVERSITY

The Department of Psychology at DePaul University seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor in the community track of the clinical psychology program, beginning September 2015. DePaul University has a diverse student body and faculty. With sub-specialty areas in child and community psychology, our clinical program is a recognized national model for diversity training. Members of under-represented groups (e.g., ethnic minorities, LGBT individuals, and people with disabilities) are encouraged to apply. Prerequisites include a strong research background, a well formulated research agenda, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction. The following qualities are preferred: (1) clinical-community psychology research interests, (2) quantitative, qualitative, and/or methodological strengths, (3) interests in cultural diversity, and (4) work with marginalized and underserved populations. Experience with external research funding is desirable. The successful candidates will be expected to make distinctive additions to the scientific literature in clinical-community psychology, teach undergraduate and graduate psychology courses and contribute to the university's liberal studies curriculum, and supervise clinical student projects, theses, and dissertations.
